Yahoo Agrees to Buy Tumblr: Report:

Yahoo has approved a deal to pay $1.1 billion for the blogging site Tumblr, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The article specifically says Yahoo did this to build a younger audience. They’re just trying to improve their own site by looking at the sites that our generation uses the most. So everyone quit crying.

everyone’s freaking out about Yahoo buying Tumblr but like… I doubt they’d change much about the actual site, it’d really just affect who the money goes to at the top. Facebook bought Instagram but it didn’t change the app at all… and Google owns like everything….
